Have you ever felt lonely or abandoned? Loneliness can be temporarily overcome through many diversions or activities. However, the basic problem remains unsolved. The minute anxiety and difficulties appear, your loneliness becomes even more intensified. When, in addition to outer needs, inner difficulties arise, the loneliness thereby created can reach such a point as to cause bodily and spiritual damage. You lose the joy and interest in your work; you become tired and worn-out; your physical strength decrease; suddenly you reach a point where you can no longer hold your head above water. It does no good to complain about God at such moments, for it only makes things worse. And self incrimination doesn’t help much, for it only leads to despair.
There is only one way out-all others lead to failure. To you the Lord Jesus Christ is calling;
“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest” (Matt 11: 28).
You too, may come to the son of God. You too, may take words of Isaiah 43:1 personally:
“Fear not; for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name thou art mine”.
The Lord Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross for you too. He shed his precious blood, which cleansed us from all our sins (1 John 1: 7). He obtained redemption for you on the cross of Calvary; “Fear not; for I have redeemed thee”. For your salvation and redemption, the dying Savior cried out; “It is finished!”
My friend, you need no longer suffer because of your sins. The Lord Jesus Christ allowed himself to be forsaken by God for you too; and loves you so much that He is at this moment, calling you; “I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine”. He not only knows your name, he knows your entire life, for before Him nothing is hidden. He knows your unfaithfulness, your doubts, your ungodly, your disputes; he knows all your sins and mine. It is because he knows you for what you are, that he has called you by your name. He means just you. He bought you with the price of his precious blood, just as it states in 1 Peter 1:18-19; “For as much ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot”. “Thou art mine”, says the Lord. Have you experienced the wonder of belonging to Christ? Come to your Redeemer now, in spirit, and confess to Him, in deepest repentance of your sins. Believes and thank Him for his redemption. Follow his call, He loves you and accepts you.
He who has received the son of God into his heart is no longer alone. You too, can have new live today. All sense of loneliness will disappear. Even in time of greatest need you will perceive the help and presence of your savior. This is not an illusion or hope, but all living reality! The great promise given in Isaiah 43:2 will be transformed into daily experienced for you; “when thou passes through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walks through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee”. Neither heat nor cold will be able to affect you once you have completely given your life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Difficulties and needs are common to all men – and Christians are no exception. However, he who possesses the son of God remains strong throughout every trials, and is victorious in every battle of life.
Just as Daniel’s three friends were cast into the fiery furnace and remained unsigned, the Lord helps every person today who has given him his or her entire life. Just exactly when the need is the greatest, the Lord is so near. Nebuchadnezzar was astonished, and said; “…did we cast three men bounds into the midst of the fire, lo I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the son of God” (Daniel 3: 24-25). My friend, if you will but yield your life to the Lord Jesus, you shall never again be alone. You will become a living witness for your Redeemer, for he has promised you; “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world (Matt 28:20)”. Will you take the courage today as you declare “I AM NOT ALONE”. God bless you. AMEN.-Dr G O Oyedepo.

MAX JUKE was an atheist who married a godless woman. Some 560 descendants were traced, three hundred and ten died as paupers, 150 became criminals, seven of them murderers, 100 were known to be drunkards and more than half of the women were prostitutes. The descendants of Max Jukes cost the united state of American government more than $1.25million in 19th century dollars. JONATHAN EDWARDS was a contemporary of Max Jukes; He was a committed Christian who gave God first place in his life. He married a godly young lady, and some 1,394 descendants were traced. Two hundred and ninety-five graduated from college of whom thirteen became college presidents and 65 became professors. Three were elected as united state senators, three as state governors, and others were sent as ministries of foreign countries, 30 were judges, 100 were lawyers while one was the dean of an outstanding law school, 56 practiced as physicians and one was the dean of medical school. 75 became officers in the military, 100 were well known missionaries, preachers and prominent authors and another 80 held some public office of which 3 were mayors of large cities, one was comptroller of US treasury and another was the vice president of the united state. Not one of the descendants of the Edward family were a liability to the government. That is quite amazing, you said ! Here is the gospel, Jesus said “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God-John 3:18”. Life without Christ is in shambles, lacks direction, full of confusion, in the state of dilemma, and living under eternal curse. But when you faithfully give or re-dedicate your life to Jesus, the result is ever glorious with relative peace in your heart, you will cease to continue to carry the burden of sin, now walking in freedom and translated into the kingdom of our lord Jesus christ. And that marks the beginning of great flows of all-round covenants of God in you and through your generations and life eternity! Jesus declared in John 14 verse 12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My father” Did you hear this, incredible! Praise God! You becomes light that illuminate and power that creates things that are glorious transcend through your entire generation. God bless you!-Dr G O Oyedepo.

WORD-AFLAME LEADERSHIP COLLEGE 7 Traits that separate good from great Marriage!

7 Traits that separate good from great Marriage!

By Gideon in Blog, MARRIAGE on July 24, 2016

1. Great Marriages always have contentment but never have complacency. Contentment means choosing to always be thankful for what you already have whether it’s a little or a lot. Great couples have an “attitude of gratitude” for all they’ve already got, but they refuse to get on autopilot and stop dreaming new dreams together. They’re content, but never complacent. They’re thankful, but always moving forward together to reach new heights.

2. Great Marriages don’t have any secrets. Trust is the cornerstone of a healthy marriage, and strong couples have learned that secrets in marriage can be as dangerous as lies. When a husband and wife choose to communicate about everything (the good, the bad and the ugly), it brings a level of trust and intimacy that can’t be achieved any other way.

3. Great Marriages don’t have an “Exit Strategy.” Commitment leads to trust which leads to intimacy which leads to great marriages. The word “divorce” needs to be completely removed from your mind and your vocabulary if you want to create the stability necessary for a great marriage.

4. Great Marriages prioritize Fun. Laughter is the soundtrack of a great marriage. They plan and prioritize activities that will create fun and happy memories. Those activities don’t need to be expensive or elaborate, but they need to be deliberate.

5. Great Marriages keep an optimistic outlook. Happy couples face the same struggles as unhappy couples, but they choose to face those struggles with a hopeful perspective and an optimistic outlook. Always choose to see the best in each other and in the world around you.

6. Great Marriages don’t live on leftovers. We’re all sometimes guilty of giving our spouse our “leftovers” after we’ve given our best energies to our job and other demands. Vibrant couples always strive to give each other the very best of themselves.

7. Great Marriages have a foundation of faith. Couples who pray together are much more likely to stay together. I believe that God is the only “perfect” part of a marriage, so the more of Him you have in your relationship, the more perfect it will become!

At a time when the church has become a ground for entertainment, we need revival. At a time when a music minister competes and compares himself with secular musician, we need a revival. At a time when the altar of God is used for comedy, we need a revival. At a time when a successful minister of the Gospel is measured by how rich he is and not how much impact he is making, we need a revival. At a time, when passion for souls have been replaced with fashion parade in the church, we need a revival. At a time when motivational speaking has replaced biblical preaching, we need a revival. At a time when you really cannot differentiate between a daughter of Zion and an harlot, we need a revival. At a time when pastors kill each other for posting and higher position, we need a revival. At a time when modern preachers now tell us that JESUS is not coming soon, we need a revival. At a time when packaging and special effect has replaced the beauty of God’s glory, we need a revival. At a time when sexual sin is referred to as weakness and the grace of God is taken for granted, we need a revival. At a time when prophets prophecy using demonic powers as livelihood, we need a revival. At a time when the church does not know the difference between witchcraft spirit and the Holy Spirit, we need a revival. At a time when filling the seats in our place of worship has become a priority than raising disciples of Jesus, we need revival. At a time when sinners feel comfortable in our churches and saints feel no sense of urgency to preach the good news to the lost, we need revival. At a time when pastors are more concerned about how much money members give than how much the members truly love the LORD, we need revival. At a time when the word of God is scarce and the fire on the altar is going out, and the priests have become blind, the watchmen sleeping, and holiness is no longer our standard, we need a revival. We need a revival not a programs. We need a re-awakening of our souls and a new awareness of the power of God. We do not need another jamboree but true repentance coupled with a changed life. We do not need another noise, we need a shaking and a mighty rushing wind. We do not need another movement, we need a reformation. We need the Lord to come again and restore us unto himself. We need the Lord to open our eyes again that we may see Him. We want to see His Holiness again that we may see our depravity. We need a genuine outpouring of the Holy Spirit, we are tired of speaking in tongues and not living Christ-like. There is no other desire that we have than to hear again the same voice that spoke in the valley of dry bones to bring us back to life. Our nations are in darkness, yet we are the light. We cannot pretend anymore, we need to activate the power of holy ghost and he will re-awaken us. He will revive us again because we do not see our signs and wonders has done by the apostles of JESUS , there are only few JESUS prophets in churches, some are not even recognized. let us pray that God should have mercy upon us! And revive us again! Peace be unto you. Revival must hit the earth in this last day please be prepared! God bless you!

Have you ever seen or heard of greatly successful men or women that lived and died yet as a failure and pauper!

From the book of Luke chapter 12 reading from verses 16 to 21: “And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

Vs 17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

Vs 18- And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods

Vs 19- And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou has much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry

Vs 20- But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou has provided?

Vs 21- So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God”.

The greatest mistake of life is not to be successful in your endeavors, with wealth, riches and fat bank account or great satisfaction of life, BUT when you choose to quietly and carelessly assassinate a divine VISION, PURPOSE of God for your LIFE and replace it with material things with all its achievements that are merely temporal! —- blessings and breakthrough must not be allow to become a snare and cage your dream of impacting on other positively and also to interpret their vision from God, rather, it should be an added advantage to make God happy in the life of others, you must therefore rise up to take care of your heavenly mandate now!

A young man was highly determined to set the record straight why he lived in the beautiful city of lust and worldliness and demonic slavery, he had the opportunity just like you and I but, the man Joseph in Egypt said ” How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Gen 39:7-12.

He closed his eyes and bluntly rejected the offer to sleep with his master’s wife!

Also our beloved brothers that was taken away in captivity- the great ambassadors of God almighty and gospel carrier of God of Israel refused to wine and dine with kings delicacy in the great Babylon kingdom- Daniel and other said, “Please test your servants for ten days, and let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink, Daniel 1:12”. Are they not better after ten days? don’t they strives to retain the spirit of God upon their life? were they not vindicated at the end? Certainly yes! they experienced the glory of God at the end.

No other voice can be stronger than that of our lord Jesus Christ when He said, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me- Matt 16:24”.

This remain a great message in the church today when apostle Paul said “But indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish that I may gain Christ” And he further raised alarm in his final decision toward fulfilling for God alone and said “I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in christ Jesus”- Philip 3:8,14

You can’t afford to disappoint your creator and your generation….brace up now and take your rightful place in God’s kingdom and fulfill your great destiny……God is still waiting for your gallant decision and I know, that you are also aware that you won’t be able to withstand it when God takes His own decision to replace you for his assignment….Hurry up now my friend while you still have your breath! The great men and women of Faith in the history of the church are not the careless type or of weak in their respective vision, but of great doggedness, resolute in mission and never attached meaningful decoration around their life that was always viewed as a vapor that can suddenly disappear, life that can be terminated by the creator without apology. So they focused only on things that will make God happy and things that is profitable to their savior, things that will put crown of gold on them in eternity and not flashing and beautiful things of this world that are worthless and useless in eternity. God bless you!-Dr G.O Oyedepo.

By Gideon in All of God, Blog, RAPTURE on July 18, 2016

It was another bright Sunday morning. For Sarah, Sunday mornings were usually eagerly awaited. A smile lit up her face as she remembered the song that has been rehearsed the previous day.
She had been assigned to do the lead singing – an opportunity many members of the choir craved, especially on Thanksgiving Sundays.
The chiming of the grandfather clock in their state-of-the-art living room broke her reverie. It was already 6:45am.she was almost late for the pre-service prayer meeting for workers. She had a hurried bath and a quick bite. The service would be longer than usual today but far more interesting too. She quickly inspected herself in the mirror and smiled in satisfaction.

Leaving instructions for the housekeeper, she left the house. Thank God she didn’t have to walk. Daddy was out of town so she could go to church in his car. The idea of driving straight to the VIP parking lot was very appealing to her. Daddy, as one of the Deacons, had a special reservation in the VIP parking lot. She got to church in time for the pre-service prayer. Everything seemed solemn that day. Members soon started arriving with various materials for Thanksgiving. The sanctuary was fuller than ever, as typical of Thanksgiving Sundays.
The choir was soon invited to the stage to minister and as always, the end of the song threw the congregation into moments of wild excitements, accompanied by thunderous applauds and screams from the worshippers.
Sarah smiled within herself. She always did better than any other person in the choir. They descended the stage and took their seats as the sermon began.
The pastor introduced the sermon for the day – Sacrifice of Praise. He talked endlessly on so it seemed to Sarah and her like – on the essence and importance of praising God and pleasing him. He emphasised that beyond bringing money and other materials for Thanksgiving, believers were supposed to live God-honouring lives everyday.
The sermon soon ended and it was time to pray. As the prayer session progressed, Sarah and other back-up singers released soft tunes of worship songs from their seats. She was so enthralled by the melodious harmony of their voices.
Almost immediately, there was this chaotic murmur of voices in the congregation. Sarah opened her eyes and found a few people still in the praying mood. But the majority were busy looking in different directions. She could see something in their eyes. Uncertainty. Confusion or was it panic? And where was the pastor in all of this commotion? Swiftly, she turned to the pulpit area. He was not there! Where on earth could he have gone leaving his congregation in such disarray? A brief scan through the choir seat revealed that some of them were also missing.
Even Matilda wasn’t there but her crutches were in sight. Where could she have gone without her crutches?
By this time the whole congregation had been thrown into utter confusion. Some of them were seen in small groups, conversing in frantic whispers. Many did not understand what was going on. Sarah ran wildly towards the back of the sanctuary. She had to find mama. Seeing the swivel chair her mother sat on made her heart skip a bit. It couldn’t be! Mama was not in her chair, only the bag she had come to church with was there.
Next she made for the church nursery and found all the cradles empty. She saw an old lady, obviously one of the nannies, crying uncontrollably. She tried to find out from her where other nannies had gone and why the cradles were empty. But the nanny couldn’t utter a word – only heartbreaking sobs. She dashed back towards the main auditorium. She bumped into Sam, one of her friends whom her mother had consistently warned her against moving around with. He breathlessly confirmed that people were missing and there seemed to be no trace of them.
She decided then to go home. As she made for the gate, she saw Freda. Freda wasn’t a member of their church. In fact, mama had tried severally to invite her for service, but she never agreed.
What was she doing at the church gate crying so disconsolately? Sarah tried to calm down and ask her friend what the matter was. And the only thing she could muster were “That thing your mother always talked to me about has happened.” Sarah was dazed. What was she talking about? No, it couldn’t be!
As quickly as her legs could carry her, she ran, almost blindly to the house, forgetting the car she came to church in. “Maybe mama is there, maybe Daddy has returned from his trip, maybe Pat and Jane where there too, maybe, just maybe.” The deafening silence that greeted her as she walked into the living room which was busy only few hours ago paralysed her. She picked up her handset. She could put a call through to mama. After a few trials, she remembered seeing mama’s bag in her swivel chair behind the church. Calling Daddy was her surest bet. Since he was out of town, there probably weren’t such disappearances where he was. Ah! Daddy’s number won’t even connect! As if drawn by some magnetic force, she made her way to where the radio set was. She could probably get some information from the news. She turned on the radio and tuned. Just as she was about giving up, she had a male voice announcing the sudden disappearance of people in every part of the nation and maybe the world. He noted that most of them were Christians.
How will the day of the rapture be for you?
Will u be missing or be looking for saints who are already gone?

The end is HERE
WORD-AFLAME LEADERSHIP COLLEGE RAPTURE - ADEBOYE'S TESTIMONY I saw it again. This time more scary. The end-time is more than nigh. It will happen like a flash unexpected and time shall be no more for repentance. In my dream, it was as if God shut his ears.I saw multitude of people running into a church. But inside that church, screaming and shouting everywhere; people making utterances to heaven.Behold it was as if a strange spirit entered into some people more clearly, I remember seeing an old man who was beside me whom the said spirit entered into and as he let out a cry, he disappeared and few other people. At that point, I realized that the rapture has taken place.I cried the more.Immediately, the devil took over and started making mockery of the left over Christians. He had a register of everyone’s name…At this point, I woke up.The end is more than near. What breaks my heart the most is that many people in the church will not make it if Jesus comes now? Many are unaware that the end is near.Don’t tell me that it’s advancement in technology or development. If any area of your life is not in sync with God’s word – Repent and be converted. If you miss heaven you can never miss hell…think about it.Hell is not a pretty place, the worst part is that it is for eternity…Don’t keep this message and don’t get annoyed when you receive this just do the whole world a favor and keep broadcasting the Lord Jesus coming, you might save a lost of souls. Please rather than post and forward senseless messages. Send to everyone you know. Do the work of an evangelist.PLEASE SHARE THIS MESSAGE WITH ALL YOUR CONTACTS.Have you ever wondered what would have happened if we treat the Holy Bible the way we treat our mobile phone? And we really can’t live without it.Only 7% will re-send this message. Don’t be among the 93% who will not share the message. Satan said “I wonder how humans claim to Love God and disobey Him, and claim that they hate me yet they obey me” do not send later send now, tomorrow may be late,God bless you as you do so.!

Ignatius Theophorus was appointed by the Apostle Peter to succeed Eusebius as bishop of Antioch.
He was the first to speak of the Church as “catholic” meaning “universal”. Antioch is also noted as the place where the followers of Christ were first called Christian. Towards the end of his life, he was interrogated by the Emperor Trajan and asked, “Dost thou then carry within thee Him that was crucified by Pontius Pilate?” Ignatius replied “Truly so; for it is written, ‘ I will dwell in them, and walk in them’ Then Trojan pronounced his sentence, “We command that Ignatius, who affirms that he carries about within him ‘Him that was crucified’, be bound by soldiers, and carried to Rome, and there be devoured by the beast for the gratification of the people.” Ignatius was so excited and grateful to God who has counted him to died for the gospel of Christ.
The holy martyr re-affirmed his decision and said ” May nothing entice me till I happily make my way to Jesus Christ! Fire, cross, struggles with wild beasts, wrenching of bones, mangling of limbs – let them come to me, provided only I make my way to Jesus Christ” he then prayed for the Church while going home via bloodthirsty beasts. 30-117 AD.

By Gideon in Blog, MARRIAGE on July 18, 2016

She joined her husband in the bedroom. Their children were asleep.
He was busy reading the newspaper.
She looked at him.
“My love, there’s something I need to confess” she began to speak.
“What is it?” he asked without looking at her, his face still glued to the newspaper.
“I have been unfaithful” she said.
He looked at her with fiery eyes.
He slapped her.
For the first time in their marriage, he slapped her.
“How could you woman?! Seventeen years of marriage, four children and this is what you do to me? You cheat on me? Foolish? How can you stoop so low?” he shouted.
He got up from the bed. He started pacing as he continued shouting, “You are the one who always tells me to keep off women. Out of respect, I keep females at a distance and you on the other hand do this?”
He was just about to pounce on his wife and beat her. The sting of unfaithfulness enraged him.
A knock was heard on the door.
Their first born, Maria, a fourteen year old girl walked in their bedroom.
“Mom, dad; is everything OK?” Maria asked.
“Get out! Get out!” he shouted as his daughter.
“It’s OK Maria, Dad and I will sort this out. Go to sleep” She told their first born daughter, Maria.
Maria walked out of their bedroom.
“Who is it? Who have you been unfaithful with? Give me his phone number. He will know today who I am” he shouted trying to grab his wife’s phone.
She humbly took her phone.
“Show me his number. Show me his face. Filthy animal who is snatching my wife” he shouted some more.
“This is the man I have been unfaithful with” she said giving her husband her phone.
Her husband looked at the screen of her phone and saw his own face and phone number.
“Me?!” he asked puzzled looking at her.
“Yes, I have been unfaithful with you. I have been unfaithful to God because I have been so busy loving you. In my effort to try being a good wife, I have forgotten God” she said.
He sat down on the bed, confused.

“When you met me, I was so devoted to God. In fact, you used to tell me that the most important reason you chose me as your wife was because of my devotion to God. I loved the Godly man you used to be. We would pray and long to have a Godly family together. I remember the days I would fast and pray and tell God that if He blesses me with a good job, I will dedicate my career to Him. God did bless me, God blessed you, God blessed us. We did so well professionally, we got good money, we could afford a good wedding. We got married” she explained.
He looked at her intently.
She continued, “The first few months of our marriage, we would pray as a family, go to Church, have fellowships, worship and Bible Study; but slowly, we stopped living by that Scripture that says as for me and my household we will serve the Lord. We started having children who we failed to raise in the Godly way. With success, we changed our friends. We found the born again friends boring. We started worshiping money, success and materials. Look at us now, we live in a big house but God is absent. You started taking me to unGodly places to have fun, we started drinking too much, our children ashamed by our drinking”
He looked away from her.
“In order to please you, I changed too; thinking that being a good wife means tagging along with everything you do. I didn’t confront you when you started going astray, I didn’t pull you back to God, I got lost with you. So lost, that I started becoming proud, shallow, self-centered; all along thinking I am being a good wife. But this is not me. I have changed so much from the woman you found me. We both have changed much”
He looked at her.

“All these, The good house, the good meals we eat, the money we have, the comfortable life; they have made us forget the God who gave them to us. I am nothing without God and I feel ashamed that I have abandoned the God responsible for all I am and have. We have started having troubles in our marriage, because the Lord is no longer building our love, we are doing it on our own and we will fail if we keep on like this”
She reached out and touched his hand.
“I want to go back to the woman I used to be. A woman after God’s own heart. I miss the peace that God gives, I miss worship, I miss reading the Word, I miss going to Church and fellowship, I miss meditating, I miss praying with you. What does it profit me to gain a good marriage yet lose my soul, my God? I am going back to God. Only as a wife submitted to God, will I be the best wife to you and the best mother to our children. He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from God, but I cannot bring favour to you if I continue being disconnected from God. I want my spiritual life back. I want God back in our home, our marriage, our family”
He started breaking down in tears. His spirit convicted.
He held her tightly in his arms.
“I am sorry. I am sorry for going astray and taking you with me. You chose to marry me because you thought you are marrying a Godly man. I miss being that Godly man. Marriage shouldn’t be a stumbling block in our walk with God. The thought of you cheating on me ripped my heart apart, I cannot even begin to imagine how God feels when we are unfaithful to Him. God having blessed us this much and we turn our backs on Him. At the thought of you cheating on me I was filled with rage, yet God patiently looks at us in our unfaithfulness desiring us to go back to Him. I want to go back too. I want more in my life than these earthly things, I want God. I want the God of my youth. I am so sorry for slapping you”
